The chaos of the last few months is beginning to slow down, finally! Although work is still work, I can slowly breathe a bit. Slowly.
My weekend was uneventful, which is good in my household. As long as no one is tying to burn down the house making mac-n-cheese, it is all A-OK. Plus, I am finally able to sleep in on Saturdays since basketball season is over for Miss K. I am smiling on that one.
OK, so I only get maybe an extra hour on Saturdays because of kickboxing, but hey, that’s something! Other than kickboxing and feeding the kids, I got one load of laundry done. I was so extremely lazy this weekend.
The only big questions of my weekend came from Miss K. She has asked to participate in a new sport – horseback riding. WTH!? Horseback riding. Well, OK, so as the great mom that I am I will look into it, but if little Miss is anything like her mom – clutz – horseback riding might not be the right thing.
Other than that – nothing went on. See, uneventful and peaceful.
